Sevilla look set to try and reshape their squad again this summer, as Sporting Director Victor Orta looks to get younger on a budget. One of their targets could be Fabio Silva, who has spent the season on loan at Rangers from Wolves.

Silva, 21, joined Wolves for €40m from Porto in 2020, but has struggled to make an impact during his four years in the Midlands, although three have been spent on loan at Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven and now Rangers. Wolves are unlikely to use him next season either, and thus will try to move him on.

According to Caught Offside, Milan and Sevilla are two of the sides interested in Silva, with Wolves asking for a little over €23m for Portuguese. Silva has played 33 times this season, racking up 1,766 minutes, but has managed just six goals in that time. Just 16 of those matches were starts too.

If Sevilla do go for him, it is hard to see it being anything other than a loan deal again, for a player that has two years left on his contract. Orta is unlikely to spend even €5m on a player this summer unless they feel the player in question is a sure thing, and Silva has proven himself to be far from that.
